About The Author

Meet Zeyad Kareem, an Iraqi-American storyteller.
By day, he serves as a flight attendant, and by night, his pen takes flight. Born in Baghdad and now based in the U.S., Zeyad’s stories offer a gentle escape through cultural insight, curiosity, and emotional honesty.
Zeyad’s debut novel, Fur-Ever, earned immediate success on Amazon for its vivid and heartfelt storytelling. His following book, The Truth Half Naked, revealed an even more personal side of his voice. His most recent release, The Path of Paws, captures themes of courage and healing set in the warm world of Strawberry Glen.
Inspired by his bicultural background, Zeyad writes from a place of deep observation. He listens to his thoughts on long flights, to the quiet voices of animals, and to the inner landscapes of people around him. He turns these moments into stories that often catch his readers by surprise and a whole lot of delight.
Readers respond to his work not only for the imaginative perspective but also for the emotional realism that lives much longer after the final page. His books have received heartfelt praise on Amazon for their lyrical writing and for encouraging readers to see life through new eyes.
Right now, Zeyad is working on an upcoming Arabic-language book titled Things That Dwell in My Head, along with more stories that follow the spirit of kindness and connection found in The Path of Paws.
With every book, he hopes to bring different cultures and imagination closer together, and he’s excited for you to be part of this journey.
